A Brief Personal History

After serving an intensive three-year  apprenticeship at the  world-renowned Hofner guitar company, I specialized  in custom-made classical guitars under the guidance of the famous German luthier, Gerold Karl Hannabach, from Bubenreuth. I achieved the Meisterprüfung in Nürnberg in 1984.

Since 1986, I have shared my shop with the piano- and harpsichord maker Erwin Klumpf.
My work is inspired by the well known luthier José Romanillos and in  cooperation with other top-class musicians.
